CUTANEOUS CALCIFICATIONS

Dystrophic calcification is the most common type of calcinosis cutis and is associated with a variety of disorders: collagen vascular diseases, panniculitis, porphyria cutanea tarda, Ehlers-Danlos s., Werner's s., pseudoxanthoma elasticum, Rothmund-Thompson s., cutaneous neoplasms, infections, trauma. This is a cutaneous calcification in a patient with haepatic cyrrosis. The big calcification was asported from his leg. The image was performed by videomicroscopy.
